Day 2-3: Negombo to Anuradhapura & Mihintale

Day 2 – Activities: Drive from Negombo to Anuradhapura. There, you'll visit some of Sri Lanka's most important historical sites, including the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, and the Twin Ponds.

Day 3 – Activities: Visit Mihintale, an important Buddhist pilgrimage site. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to take an optional bike tour or relax at the hotel.

Days 7–8: From Matale via Kandy to Nuwara Eliya & exploring the highlands

Day 7 – Activities:
Drive from Matale to Nuwara Eliya with a stop in Kandy. There, visit the famous Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) and the Gem Museum. Continue through the scenic highlands to Nuwara Eliya.

Day 8 – Activities:
Free day to explore Nuwara Eliya on your own – visit Gregory Lake, the Hakgala Botanical Gardens or one of the many tea plantations.
